 | Clippers End Fisher's Streak Wednesday, May 9th, 2018 It was a doubly miserable day today for Derek Fisher of the Norfolk Tides, as he saw his 20-game hitting streak end and his team lose 1-0 to the Columbus Clippers at Huntington Park. The 24-year-old right fielder was held hitless in 3 at-bats by the Clippers. "Anyone on a 20-game hitting streak is going to be a tough out," Columbus manager said later. "But we had a plan and we were careful about it, and got it done." This season Fisher is batting .430 with 5 home runs. His totals include 19 RBIs and 25 runs scored. |   |
