Players Suspended in Cubs-Sky Sox Donnybrook
Saturday, May 19th, 2018
Ibandel Isabel of the Iowa Cubs and Junichi Tazawa of the Colorado Springs Sky Sox will be on the sidelines for a few days. They have been suspended for 5 and 11 games respectively by the league office for causing the bench-emptying free-for-all at the recent Cubs-Sky Sox game at Principal Park.

Neither player had any comment about the suspensions. Both clubs told BNN Isabel and Tazawa will begin serving them soon.

Isabel's current batting average stands at .237 and he has chalked up 3 home runs and 12 RBIs.

Tazawa has taken the mound for 13 relief appearances this season, nailing down no saves while notching a 1-1 record with a 3.05 ERA. The Colorado Springs reliever has limited opposing batters to a .259 batting average.
