Seferina Stretches Hit String to 20 Monday, May 21st, 2018 The hot bat of IronPigs second baseman Darren Seferina continues to churn out hit after hit, game after game. His consecutive-game hitting streak now numbers 20 games after he went 1-for-5 in today's 5-3 loss to the Stripers at Coolray Field. "I'm trying not to think about it much," he said later. "I don't want to mess with whatever zone I'm in." Darren Seferina grounded out in the 1st, struck out in the 3rd, flied out in the 5th, singled in the 7th and struck out in the 8th. In this current campaign Seferina is hitting at a .327 clip with 4 home runs and 18 RBIs. |
