Slater Runs Hit String to 20 Straight Games Thursday, June 14th, 2018 Sacramento left fielder Austin Slater has extended his hitting streak to 20 straight games with a 3-for-5 day. However, the Iowa Cubs took the 14-6 victory over the River Cats at Raley Field. "Disappointing," Slater said of the outcome. Austin Slater singled in the 1st, flied out in the 3rd, singled in the 5th, doubled in the 7th and flied out in the 9th. In the 2018 season Slater is hitting .324 with 11 home runs. |
