Hannemann Touches All the Bases, Hits for Cycle Tuesday, July 3rd, 2018 Finishing with 4 hits is a great day for any player, but Jacob Hannemann made it even more special by hitting for the cycle at McCoy Stadium today. Hannemann had 1 single, 1 double, 1 triple and 1 home run for the Pawtucket Red Sox and led them to a 14-12 decision over the Scranton WB RailRiders. The center fielder also finished with 4 runs scored and 1 RBI. "Awesome," Hannemann said when asked how the accomplishment felt. Jacob Hannemann struck out in the 1st, grounded out in the 3rd, tripled in the 5th, hit a solo-shot off Taylor Guerrieri in the 7th, struck out in the 9th, doubled in the 11th, singled in the 13th and walked in the 15th. Thus far this season Hannemann has hit .269 with 10 home runs, 45 RBIs and scored 46 times. |
