Smith Spins Shutout Saturday, July 7th, 2018 The Omaha Storm Chasers rolled to an easy 13-0 win over the Tacoma Rainiers at Cheney Stadium today. Leading the way to victory was starter Burch Smith, who shackled the Tacoma Rainiers and held them scoreless on a 6-hitter. "This is what every pitcher wants to do when they go out there," Smith said in his postgame press conference. In 16 starts this year Smith has crafted a 7-3 record and a 3.91 ERA. |
