Cordero Torches Aces for 5 Hits Sunday, July 8th, 2018 5 hits in a game is a rare thing, but Oklahoma City's Franchy Cordero made it happen today against the Aces. Everything came together at the plate for the 23-year-old center fielder as he collected 5 hits in 6 at-bats -- and led the Dodgers to a 10-1 win at Greater Nevada Field. "I'm just out there to try and help the team win," Cordero said after the game, "I had some real good at-bats today. I made good, solid contact and luckily no one caught 'em." Franchy Cordero singled in the 1st, struck out in the 3rd, hit an RBI single in the 5th, singled in the 6th, singled in the 7th and singled in the 9th. Thus far this season Cordero has hit .293 with 14 home runs, 61 RBIs and scored 54 times. |
