Crisp Big Deal in Salt Lake: Hits for Cycle Saturday, July 14th, 2018 Some days everything just falls in place. It all came together for Coco Crisp and the Salt Lake Bees today at Coca-Cola Field. The Bees went home winners and the left fielder had a 4-for-5 day that included the cycle, a baseball rarity. "He sure was a wrecking ball today," said Salt Lake manager following his club's 10-6 taming of the Buffalo Bisons. Coco Crisp singled in the 1st, grounded out in the 2nd, tripled in the 4th, hit a two-run home run off Clayton Blackburn in the 5th, doubled in the 7th and walked in the 9th. This year Crisp has hit at a .315 clip with 68 hits, 5 home runs, 29 RBIs and 43 runs scored. |
