Rochester Blanks Mud Hens, Stephens at His Best Sunday, July 15th, 2018 Rochester Red Wings pitcher Jackson Stephens really got it done at Frontier Field today in his 7-0 shutout victory over the Toledo Mud Hens, shutting them down on 4 hits. "It was just one of those games where everything went right. I threw a lot of strikes," Stephens said. "And the pitches they did get to hit, they didn't do anything with them." The 24-year-old issued 2 walks and had 7 strikeouts in the Red Wings win. This season Stephens has a 2-3 record with a 4.23 ERA. |
