Week's Premier Player: Indianapolis's McKinney Monday, July 23rd, 2018 So far in his young career, Billy McKinney has kept a low profile, but after his performance at the plate last week, he attracted the notice of the rest of the National Conference in a big way as he was named the Player of the Week today for his efforts. The 23-year-old Indianapolis Indians right fielder hit at a torrid .484 clip as he collected 15 hits in 31 at-bats, 2 home runs, 5 RBIs and 8 runs scored. So far this season McKinney has put up a .325 batting average with 82 hits, 11 home runs and 33 RBIs. |
