Kepler Bashes 5 Base Hits Saturday, July 28th, 2018 All game long, New Orleans's Max Kepler was rattling the walls at Chickasaw Bricktown Ballpark and banging out base hits against the Oklahoma City Dodgers. When the dust finally settled on the diamond, he had a 5-hit day and the Baby Cakes had a 4-3 victory. Speaking with reporters after his standout performance, the 25-year-old right fielder said, "Get 5 hits, win a ballgame, it's nice. I could get used to this." Max Kepler tripled in the 1st, hit an RBI single in the 2nd, singled in the 5th, doubled in the 7th and doubled in the 9th. This year Kepler is batting .273 with 3 home runs. He has scored 30 runs and driven in 15. |
