That was the resounding sentiment in the Albuquerque Isotopes locker room when they were told they had clinched the National Conference Barry Bonds Division title, for the 1st time. With a 76-38 record, Albuquerque's stars certainly feel like they have a good chance to go all the way. "We're learned a lot under our coaching staff this year. They've taught us to never be over-confident, and play every game like a championship game. I think with that and the team we have, we have a great chance to bring a 1st championship to Albuquerque this year," said reliever Mitch Harris. |
