AC Player of the Week Goes to Spangenberg of Nashville Monday, August 13th, 2018 At the age of 27, Cory Spangenberg might have some potential he hasn't realized yet -- if his success at the plate last week is any indication. The Nashville third baseman put up some exceptional numbers the past seven days with a .714 batting average. For his efforts Spangenberg collected the American Conference Player of the Week Award. He racked up 15 hits in 21 at-bats, 2 home runs and 6 RBIs last week in 6 games. In 79 games this year Spangenberg has posted a .377 average and put up these numbers: 11 home runs, 52 RBIs and 63 runs scored. |
