Las Vegas Loses Pfeifer for Season Saturday, August 18th, 2018 Obviously disappointed, Philip Pfeifer confirmed today that his season is officially over. The Las Vegas reliever offered mostly monosyllabic responses to reporters. "Nope," he said, when asked if he might possibly return this year. The 26-year-old Pfeifer suffered a fractured elbow on 08/15/2018 and has been out of action since. For the season Pfeifer has made 29 relief appearances, recorded 2 saves, compiled a 3-1 won-lost mark and a 1.66 ERA. In pitching 38 innings, he has totaled 48 strikeouts and 27 walks. |
