Sky Sox Easily Win National Conference Johnny Bench Division Sunday, August 19th, 2018 There may have been other teams in the National Conference Johnny Bench Division, but this year there was one that stood far above all others. The Colorado Springs Sky Sox are division champions after to date what has been a dominant season that sees the club well out ahead of the pack, with a current record of 80-37. It is the 1st time in franchise history they have won the National Conference Johnny Bench Division. "We've had the right preparation and focus all year," said the team manager. The club will now be looking for its 1st AAA championship. "We're all getting excited to get the playoffs started," said second baseman Bo Bichette as he paused from celebrations with his jubilant teammates. "The division is one thing, but ultimately we want to get to the Round 3 and win it." |
