Andujar Sizzles with 20-Game Batting Streak Sunday, August 19th, 2018 Miguel Andujar has been on a tear for several weeks, and his hitting streak just keeps getting longer. The 23-year-old New Orleans Baby Cakes third baseman extended his streak today to 20 games, going 1-for-5 as New Orleans got the best of the Gwinnett Stripers at Coolray Field, 5-3. "Miguel has been playing real well lately and we're proud of him," Baby Cakes manager said. Miguel Andujar flied out in the 2nd, struck out in the 4th, doubled in the 6th, flied out in the 9th and flied out in the 11th. This season Andujar has hit 23 home runs and posted a .288 batting average. |
