Andujar Finally Fails, Streak Ends at 22 Thursday, August 23rd, 2018 The Albuquerque Isotopes did something to Miguel Andujar no team had done for the last 22 games -- they stopped him, ending his consecutive-game hitting streak. Unfortunately, they couldn't do the same to the Baby Cakes, who came away with the 5-1 victory at Zephyr Field. "Hey, I knew it wasn't going to last forever," the 23-year-old third baseman said of the demise of his streak. "It was a good ride while it lasted." In the 2018 season Andujar is hitting .287 with 24 home runs. |
