Martini Goes on Rampage Against Sounds Friday, August 24th, 2018 All game long, Durham's Nick Martini was rattling the walls at First Tennessee Park and banging out base hits against the Nashville Sounds. When the dust finally settled on the diamond, he had a 5-hit day and the Bulls had a 21-3 victory. Speaking with reporters after his standout performance, the 28-year-old left fielder said, "Get 5 hits, win a ballgame, it's nice. I could get used to this." Nick Martini hit an RBI single in the 2nd, struck out in the 3rd, singled in the 5th, hit an RBI double in the 6th, hit an RBI double in the 7th and hit a two-run single in the 8th. So far this year, Martini is batting .284 with 1 home run and 14 RBIs. |
