Tomlinson Runs Hit String to 20 Straight Games Thursday, August 30th, 2018 Kelby Tomlinson has been ripping hits every day for a while now, and nobody seems able to stop him. The Scranton WB second baseman picked up 3 more today against the Buffalo Bisons and now has a 20-game hitting streak. The RailRiders won the game 14-3. "Definitely somebody's going to stop me at some point," he said later, chuckling. "I'll enjoy it for the time being." Kelby Tomlinson flied out in the 1st, hit a three-run double in the 2nd, struck out in the 4th, singled in the 6th, walked in the 8th and hit an RBI single in the 9th. Thus far this year Tomlinson is hitting .361 with 3 home runs, 22 RBIs and 25 runs scored. |
