Tobias Runs Hit String to 20 Straight Games Friday, August 31st, 2018 The number just keeps getting higher. New Orleans second baseman Josh Tobias has now extended his hitting string to 20 games. He did it today with 1 hit in 4 at-bats as the New Orleans took the 6-4 win over the Las Vegas 51s at Cashman Field. "Who knows how long it will go on?" Las Vegas manager said. "He's certainly tough to pitch to right now." Josh Tobias grounded out in the 2nd, flied out in the 5th, hit an RBI single in the 7th and grounded out in the 8th. Tobias is currently batting .323 with 3 home runs and 15 RBIs. |
