Reyes 5-for-5 Against Toledo Friday, August 31st, 2018 It was a parade of hits for Pablo Reyes of the Columbus Clippers at Huntington Park today. Connecting with regularity, Reyes finished the day with a total of 5 hits in 5 at-bats, but the Mud Hens rose to the occasion and rained on his parade with a 9-5 win. "Reyes was really good, we were just a little better," said Mud Hens manager in the postgame interview. "It's all right with me if he gets 5 hits every game against us, as long as we win." Pablo Reyes hit a solo-shot off Wilmer Font in the 1st, singled in the 2nd, doubled in the 5th, singled in the 7th and hit an RBI single in the 8th. Presently Reyes is batting .285 and has collected 13 home runs, 60 RBIs, .352 OBP and scored 82 runs. |
