Great Year Gets Skole AC Most Valuable Player Award

Matt Skole of the Montgomery Biscuits had a fine season this year and today he accepted the Most Valuable Player Award for 2018.

The 29-year-old first baseman put up a .319 average and a .483 on-base percentage, piling up 99 hits, 14 doubles, no triples, 25 home runs, 70 RBIs and 85 runs scored.

He received 17 first place votes out of a possible 30. Gavin LaValley of the Chattanooga Lookouts finished second in voting with 3 first place votes, while Aristides Aquino of the Northwest Arkansas Naturals finished third with 1 first place vote.
