 | Canelo 5-for-5 Against Akron Friday, May 11th, 2018 Malquin Canelo did all he could with his bat, but it just wasn't enough for the Midland RockHounds to pull out a victory. The 23-year-old shortstop rapped out 5 hits in the game, but the RockHounds could not overcome the Akron RubberDucks. Midland lost the game 11-6 today at Security Bank Ballpark. Malquin Canelo doubled in the 1st, hit an RBI single in the 2nd, singled in the 4th, doubled in the 6th and singled in the 8th.
