Alvarez Belts 5 Hits Saturday, June 16th, 2018 It seemed that Frisco shortstop Eliezer Alvarez could do no wrong as the RoughRiders KO'd the Baysox, 22-4 today. Alvarez rapped out 5 hits in 6 at-bats and seemed to know which pitches Baysox hurlers were throwing. "I think the RoughRiders were stealing signs," growled one unhappy Bowie fan after the game. "I just felt good today. I saw the ball well and just wanted to make good contact and put the ball in play," said the jubilant Alvarez in the postgame press interview. Eliezer Alvarez singled in the 1st, singled in the 2nd, singled in the 3rd, grounded out in the 4th, walked in the 6th, singled in the 7th and singled in the 8th. Alvarez is currently batting .321 with 6 home runs and 36 RBIs. |
