Super Swinger -- Dobson Slams 6 Hits Friday, July 6th, 2018 San Antonio Missions first baseman Dillon Dobson really lit up the Springfield Cardinals with a 6-hit barrage today at Nelson W. Wolff Municipal Stadium -- a performance that sparked the Missions to a 57-4 triumph. He shrugged off the performance after the game, saying "sometimes the ball finds outfielders, today the ball found some holes." Dillon Dobson walked in a run in the 2nd, singled in the 3rd, hit an RBI single in the 4th, hit a solo-shot off Marc Brakeman in the 4th, hit an RBI single in the 5th, hit an RBI single in the 5th, hit a two-run single in the 6th, walked in the 7th and grounded out in the 7th. So far this season Dobson has hit .296 with 10 home runs, 56 RBIs and scored 55 times. |
