He struck out 6 in the 3-0 win and walked 3 while surrendering 2 hits. "Hopefully there will be plenty more of these in the future for us," he said. Presently Almonte has a 9-3 mark in 17 starts with a 3.80 ERA. He has given up 95 hits in 106.2 innings, struck out 101 and issued 38 walks.
