Sierra Smacks 5 Hits for Blue Wahoos Monday, July 16th, 2018 Pensacola shortstop Miguelangel Sierra had a day to remember today, 5-for-6 against the Springfield Cardinals at Blue Wahoos Stadium as the Blue Wahoos picked up a 35-3 victory. "He was patient up there today," Pensacola skipper told the press after the game. "I like the way he waited for his pitch and wasn't overly aggressive. Sierra has a tendency to chase bad balls sometimes." Miguelangel Sierra singled in the 3rd, grounded out in the 4th, doubled in the 5th, hit an RBI single in the 5th, hit an RBI single in the 6th, walked in the 7th and singled in the 7th. For the season Sierra has hit .323 with 3 home runs and 42 RBIs. He has played in 63 games and scored 39 times. |
