League Gets Last Word, Suspends Rolette 2 Games
Tuesday, July 17th, 2018
It got ugly on the field today in the Thunder and Biscuits game, when Josh Rolette was ejected for arguing balls and strikes with the home plate umpire. Before he left the dugout area, Rolette threw a few bats and a garbage can on the field toward home plate.

League officials thought the Trenton catcher went too far and gave him a 2-game suspension.

"Sometimes your emotions get the better of you and you just sort of lose control," Rolette told reporters, "but that doesn't mean I was wrong, just out of control."

On the year Rolette has hit .274 with 2 home runs, 12 RBIs and scored 18 runs.
