Harrisburg's Vasquez Goes Ballistic with 6 Hits Friday, July 20th, 2018 Jeremy Vasquez had an answer for everything the Springfield Cardinals threw at him today at FNB Field. The Harrisburg first baseman went 6-for-7 in the game to put his name in the record book and put the Senators on top, 46-3. Summing up his batting philosophy to BNN writers after the game, Vasquez said, "I just see the ball and I hit it." Jeremy Vasquez singled in the 2nd, flied out in the 3rd, singled in the 5th, walked in a run in the 6th, walked in the 7th, hit an RBI single in the 7th, singled in the 8th, hit an RBI single in the 8th and singled in the 8th. Thus far this year Vasquez is batting .289 with 2 home runs, 22 RBIs and 17 runs scored. |
