Tseng Shuts Out Altoona Wednesday, July 25th, 2018 The Altoona Curve struggled at the plate today against Blue Wahoos hurler Jen-Ho Tseng, who shackled them on 2 hits while hurling a complete game 5-0 shutout. "What can you say? We didn't hit well," said Curve skipper in his postgame comments. "Hopefully we shake this off and bounce back tomorrow." Tseng finished the game with 5 strikeouts and 2 walks in an excellent mound performance. "He pitched real well," Pensacola manager said. "Jen-Ho made pitches when he had to. He hit his spots and did a great job of mixing in his changeup and using his fastball effectively." Taking a look at his season, Tseng has made 25 relief appearances, recorded 1 save and compiled a 6-3 won-lost mark and a 3.54 ERA. In pitching 101.2 innings, he has totaled 100 strikeouts and 23 walks. |
