NC #1 Pitcher in July is Harrisburg's Rios Wednesday, August 1st, 2018 There's something about a young rookie winning the National Conference Pitcher of the Month trophy that sends shock waves through the league. Such is the case with Francisco Rios, a 23-year-old starter for the Harrisburg Senators. In July, he topped off the month with a 5-1 mark and 1.14 ERA in 6 starts, tossed 39.1 innings, fanned 31 and held opposing teams to a .174 average. For the year Rios has a 10-9 record with a 2.39 ERA in 21 starts. |
