Reyes Goes on Rampage Against Barons Friday, August 3rd, 2018 Jomar Reyes said "it felt like taking batting practice" today at Jerry Uht Park, and it showed in the box score. The Erie third baseman had a fantastic 5-for-5 day against the Birmingham Barons, leading his club to victory, 16-4. "I was seeing the ball very well and it was going just about anywhere I wanted," Reyes said later." Jomar Reyes hit a two-run home run off Erich Uelmen in the 2nd, doubled in the 3rd, hit an RBI single in the 4th, singled in the 5th, doubled in the 7th and walked in the 8th. Reyes's current batting average stands at .310 and he has chalked up 19 home runs and 78 RBIs. |
