Duenez's Hit Streak Reaches 20 Games Saturday, August 11th, 2018 Travelers first baseman Samir Duenez has extended his hitting streak to 20 games. He went 2-for-4 in today's game against the Frisco RoughRiders. Arkansas won the ballgame 9-2. "Got a hit and a win," he said later. "OK, I'll take it." Samir Duenez walked in the 1st, flied out in the 2nd, hit a three-run home run off Jordan Humphreys in the 4th, singled in the 6th and grounded out in the 8th. This season Duenez is batting .363 with 61 hits, 6 home runs, 40 RBIs, 25 walks, .439 OBP and has scored 32 runs. He has played in 41 games. |
