Barrage of Hits Gets Santander AC Award Monday, August 13th, 2018 It can be difficult for a young player to step out of the shadows and assert himself in the American Conference, but last week Anthony Santander of the Arkansas Travelers reminded everyone just why he's here as he threw up numbers that made him an easy selection for Player of the Week. Santander rocked opposing pitching for a .500 average (13-for-26), 5 home runs and 13 RBIs to come away with the award. This season Santander is batting .365 with 46 hits, 11 home runs, 38 RBIs, 17 walks, .438 OBP and has scored 29 runs. He has played in 31 games. |
