Week's #1 Player: Bowie's Torrens Monday, August 20th, 2018 It can be difficult for a young player to step out of the shadows and assert himself in the American Conference, but last week Luis Torrens of the Bowie Baysox reminded everyone just why he's here as he threw up numbers that made him an easy selection for Player of the Week. Torrens rocked opposing pitching for a .600 average (9-for-15), 1 home run and 6 RBIs to come away with the award. Torrens is presently hitting at a .295 pace with 3 home runs, 40 RBIs and has scored 41 times. |
