Burks Sizzles -- Smokes Fisher Cats for 5 Hits Tuesday, August 28th, 2018 It was a parade of hits for Charcer Burks of the Northwest Arkansas Naturals at Arvest Ballpark today. Connecting almost every time he went to the plate, Burks finished the day with a total of 5 hits in 5 at-bats. His strong individual effort propelled the Naturals to a 10-6 victory. "Burks was really good and we were really bad," groaned Fisher Cats manager . "Next time he's that hot, we'll just walk him." Charcer Burks hit a two-run single in the 2nd, hit a two-run single in the 3rd, singled in the 5th, singled in the 7th and hit an RBI single in the 8th. Currently Burks has 3 home runs and a .252 batting average. |
