Aquino Strokes 3 HR Against New Hampshire Wednesday, August 29th, 2018 Fans are still buzzing after Northwest Arkansas whipped the New Hampshire Fisher Cats by the score of 22-4 today at Arvest Ballpark. Aristides Aquino smashed three home runs in the contest, a feat that would be a career highlight for most players and few fans ever see. In a tremendous performance, the right fielder bashed out 3 hits in 5 at-bats, had 5 RBIs and scored 3 times. At the postgame press conference, Aquino said it was an "unbelievable" feeling to hit three home runs in a game. "Getting one homer is special, and two is great," Aquino said. "Three is just... wow." Aristides Aquino hit a solo-shot off Gabriel Llanes in the 2nd, flied out in the 3rd, hit a two-run home run off Turner Larkins in the 4th, hit a solo-shot off Eduardo Del Rosario in the 6th, walked in a run in the 6th and grounded out in the 8th. On the year Aquino is hitting .315 with 110 hits, 21 home runs, 106 RBIs, .390 OBP and has scored 68 runs. |
