Season Over for Scheetz Friday, August 31st, 2018 Kit Scheetz had hoped for the best, but expected the worst. Today, he learned from the Bowie medical staff that he would miss the rest of the season. The Bowie reliever suffered a torn labrum in an earlier ballgame. He admitted to being discouraged, but said he plans to come back strong next year. Scheetz has taken the mound for 42 relief appearances this season, nailing down no saves while notching a 2-0 record with a 4.72 ERA. The Bowie reliever has limited opposing batters to a .243 batting average. |
