NC's Best Pitcher is Reliever

The National Conference Outstanding Pitcher Award for 2018 has been presented and the winner is Rancho Cucamonga bullpen ace Ariel Jurado.

Jurado excelled with no saves in no save opportunities, a 3.02 ERA and a 17-5 record. In 205.2 innings he struck out 126 and gave up 198 hits and 29 walks.

He received 27 first place votes out of a possible 30. Sam Hentges of the Lake Elsinore Storm finished second in voting with 3 first place votes, while Ricardo Sanchez of the Palm Beach Cardinals finished third.
