Player of the Week: San Jose's Cooke Monday, April 30th, 2018 So far in his young career, Billy Cooke has kept a low profile, but after his performance at the plate last week, he attracted the notice of the rest of the National Conference in a big way as he was named the Player of the Week today for his efforts. The 22-year-old San Jose Giants right fielder hit at a torrid .600 clip as he collected 9 hits in 15 at-bats, 3 home runs, 6 RBIs and 6 runs scored. So far this season Cooke is batting .272 with 4 home runs, 10 RBIs and 14 runs scored. He has 22 hits in 81 at-bats, 8 walks and a .359 OBP. Cooke has played in 20 games. |
