Reynolds Belts 6 Hits Thursday, June 21st, 2018 No matter what the Dunedin Blue Jays threw at him today, Matt W. Reynolds hit it. He easily handled Blue Jays pitching, going 6 for 7 and helping the Stone Crabs to a 34-1 triumph at Florida Auto Exchange Stadium. "The way I was swinging today, I think I could have closed my eyes and hit the ball," he told BNN reporters in the postgame interview. Told of Reynolds's quip, Blue Jays skipper said he "would take him up on that next time." Matt W. Reynolds singled in the 1st, hit a two-run double in the 2nd, hit an RBI double in the 3rd, flied out in the 4th, singled in the 6th, walked in the 7th, walked in the 8th, singled in the 9th and hit a two-run home run off Kelvin Rodriguez in the 9th. In this current campaign Reynolds is hitting at a .438 clip with 5 home runs and 52 RBIs. |
