Baumann Shuts Out Winston-Salem Wednesday, July 25th, 2018 Michael Baumann of the Lynchburg Hillcats humiliated the Winston-Salem Dash at Calvin Falwell Field today, spinning a complete game shutout and holding the visitors to 4 hits. "He stayed aggressive and his ball was really moving," said Winston-Salem manager , after the game. Baumann whiffed 5 and walked 2 in the 7-0 win. "If I make good pitches, I'm going to get some outs," Baumann said. "I was making good pitches the entire game." Currently Baumann has a 12-3 won-lost record in 21 starts with a 2.82 ERA. He also has 123 strikeouts in 130.2 innings. |
