Salem Helpless Against Dibrell Friday, July 27th, 2018 In a remarkable performance, Modesto Nuts starter Tony Dibrell beat the Salem Red Sox 9-0 in an impressive 3-hit shutout. "My arm felt good, mechanics were good and my stuff was working," he said later. "It doesn't get any better than this." The Nuts hurler finished with 5 strikeouts and 1 walk. He showed pinpoint control and a sharp fastball. "It was a rough one for my guys," Salem manager said following the game. "We weren't at our best and their guy was." This season Dibrell has fanned 64 in 138.2 innings and collected a 4-12 record with a 7.20 ERA. |
