Pena Cops NC Batter of the Month Honors Wednesday, August 1st, 2018 Wily Mo Pena said at the age of 36 he's seen it all in professional baseball. But he may never have seen his own performance be as dominant as it was in July, as the Daytona Tortugas right fielder has won the National Conference Batter of the Month award. Pena batted .427, hit 7 home runs, drove in 17 runs, scored 20 times and compiled a .541 on-base percentage. This season Pena has hit at a .382 clip with 19 RBIs, 8 home runs and 29 runs scored. He has played in 37 games. |
