Watson Guns Down Mets Thursday, August 9th, 2018 Tyler J. Watson of the Daytona Tortugas humiliated the St. Lucie Mets at Jackie Robinson Ballpark today, spinning a complete game shutout and holding the visitors to 4 hits. "He stayed aggressive and his ball was really moving," said St. Lucie manager , after the game. Watson whiffed 3 and walked 1 in the 1-0 win. "If I make good pitches, I'm going to get some outs," Watson said. "I was making good pitches the entire game." This season Watson has fanned 127 in 170.1 innings and collected a 9-11 record with a 4.23 ERA. |
