Wood Ducks, Crouse Blank Red Sox Monday, August 13th, 2018 Today was Hans Crouse's turn in the rotation for the Down East Wood Ducks and he made the most of it, shutting out the Salem Red Sox on 6 hits. The 19-year-old right-hander led the Wood Ducks to an easy 6-0 victory, allowing 1 walk and tallying 9 strikeouts. "I hope we miss him next time," Salem manager said. "Crouse certainly pitched a strong game against us today. He was in a groove, throwing everything for strikes. Throwing hard. Changing speeds." To date this year, Crouse shows a 9-9 record, 24 starts, 136.1 innings, 90 strikeouts and a 4.56 ERA. |
