Goins Runs Hit String to 20 Straight Games Monday, August 13th, 2018 Ryan Goins, shortstop for the Lancaster JetHawks, ran his consecutive-game hitting streak to 20 games with 2 hits in his club's 4-0 victory today over the Potomac Nationals at The Hanger today. "I don't really know why it's even happening," he said with a grin after the game. "So asking me how long I can keep it up is kind of irrelevant. It'll end when it ends." Ryan Goins flied out in the 1st, singled in the 4th, grounded out in the 5th and singled in the 7th. So far in 2018 Goins is batting .354 with 16 home runs, 81 RBIs and 77 runs scored. He has 137 hits in 387 at-bats and a .451 OBP. |
