Goins's 21-Game Hit Streak Ends Wednesday, August 15th, 2018 All good things must come to an end -- and so it was today for Ryan Goins as he saw his 21-game hitting streak end. He went hitless in 1 at-bat at the hands of the Jupiter Hammerheads. It wasn't all bad for the 30-year-old shortstop and the Lancaster JetHawks however, as they defeated Jupiter 7-5 at Roger Dean Stadium. When asked about his hitting streak, a smiling Goins laughed and said, "I guess my luck ran out today." This season Goins is batting .356 with 16 home runs. His totals include 83 RBIs and 79 runs scored. |
