Jurado Whitewashes Daytona Thursday, August 16th, 2018 The Rancho Cucamonga Quakes rolled to an easy 8-0 win over the Daytona Tortugas at Jackie Robinson Ballpark today. Leading the way to victory was starter Ariel Jurado, who shackled the Daytona Tortugas and held them scoreless on a 7-hitter. "This is what every pitcher wants to do when they go out there," Jurado said in his postgame press conference. Thus far this season, Jurado has tossed 181 innings in 25 starts, fanned 110 batters, walked 28 and put up a 3.18 ERA with 14 wins and 5 losses. |
