Ragans Magnificent in Daytona Win Thursday, August 23rd, 2018 It wasn't easy but Cole Ragans made it look that way. Ragans silenced the Myrtle Beach Pelicans, 8-0, in a Daytona Tortugas triumph at TicketReturn.com Field at Pelicans Ballpark today. Despite the appearance of dominance, Ragans said later that he felt like he was struggling all game. He gave up 4 walks and 7 hits. "It didn't feel quite right today, but I made the decision to bear down and work through it," he said. "I made a few mistakes but it goes to show what you can do with grit and not much else." This season Ragans has compiled a 4-19 record with a 5.73 ERA. |
